Job description

Barbaricum is seeking an experienced Program Manager III to lead the execution of complex technical programs supporting government mission objectives. The Program Manager will provide strategic oversight, operational leadership, and program management across multidisciplinary teams delivering engineering, network, logistics, and cyber capabilities. The successful candidate will ensure program performance, compliance with contractual requirements, and alignment with mission priorities while maintaining strong communication with government stakeholders. Supports exercises in the Greater Indiana Area with 10-25% travel between Camp Atterbury and Muscatatuck Training Center.


Responsibilities:
   Provide overall program leadership and management for contract execution.
   Serve as the primary interface with government leadership and key stakeholders.
   Manage program scope, schedule, budget, and technical performance.
   Oversee multidisciplinary teams supporting network engineering, systems administration, logistics, and operational planning.
   Ensure program compliance with contract requirements and organizational policies.
   Develop and maintain program management plans, risk registers, and performance metrics.
   Coordinate across technical and operational teams to ensure integrated mission support.
   Lead program reviews, status briefings, and reporting to government leadership.
   Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.


Required Qualifications:

   Active DoD Secret Clearance

   Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, information technology, or management.
   Extensive experience managing complex government or defense programs.
   Demonstrated ability to lead large technical teams and manage program performance.
   Strong knowledge of program management principles, including risk management and resource planning.
   Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
   Master's degree in a technical or management discipline.
   PMP or equivalent program management certification.
   Prior experience supporting DoD or federal mission programs in the Greater Indianapolis area.
   Experience managing engineering, networking, or cybersecurity programs
