We specialize in delivering high-quality property management services while maintaining strong relationships with property owners and investors. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Revenue Manager to join our growing team.
Position Overview
The Revenue Manager is responsible for overseeing management fee revenue operations, client billing, collections, and revenue reporting across a portfolio of managed properties and ownership groups. This role focuses on ensuring accurate fee calculations, timely invoicing, collections management, contract compliance, and cash flow optimization related to management services provided by the company.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and financial skills, leadership abilities, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience within property management, real estate operations, or financial administration. This position works closely with executive leadership, property management teams, accounting personnel, and property owners to ensure accurate revenue reporting and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Management & Client Billing
• Oversee management fee revenue operations for a portfolio of managed properties and ownership groups.
• Supervise and support one direct report responsible for billing, collections, and revenue-related administrative tasks.
• Ensure accurate calculation and invoicing of property management fees, reimbursements, and other client-related charges.
• Review management agreements to confirm compliance with fee structures, billing terms, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate collection efforts with property owners and clients to ensure timely payment.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputed charges, and account issues promptly and professionally.
Cash Flow, Collections & Reporting
• Monitor company cash flow related to management fee collections and recurring client revenue streams.
• Prepare and distribute revenue reports, aging schedules, and collection summaries for executive leadership.
• Track monthly recurring revenue, collection performance, and client payment trends.
• Analyze revenue trends and provide recommendations to improve billing efficiency, collections performance, and operational profitability.
• Assist with month-end reporting and coordinate with accounting teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
• Assist with forecasting management fee revenue and company cash flow projections.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and revenue targets.
• Support leadership with financial analysis related to management contracts, new business opportunities, and portfolio performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and maximize revenue generation.
Client & Operational Support
• Partner with property management and operations teams to support financial and operational goals.
• Maintain professional communication with property owners, investors, and clients regarding billing, collections, and account activity.
• Support onboarding of new management contracts, including setup of billing schedules and revenue tracking processes.
• Assist with process improvements related to client invoicing, collections, and revenue tracking.
Systems & Reporting
• Utilize property management and accounting software systems to maintain accurate billing and financial records.
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, reports, pivot tables, and formulas for revenue analysis and reporting purposes.
• Assist in improving internal controls, reporting accuracy, and operational workflows related to revenue management.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in revenue management, accounts receivable, property management, real estate operations, or financial analysis required.
• Prior leadership or management experience preferred.
• Experience with billing, collections, contract administration, and financial reporting preferred.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial reporting functions.
• Experience with Yardi, Rent Manager, or similar property management/accounting software preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within property management or real estate service industries is highly desirable.
• Experience managing multiple entities or client portfolios preferred.
• Experience with management agreements, recurring billing structures, and revenue forecasting is a plus.
