RSM is a 29-year-old Charlotte-based experiential marketing agency specializing in retail events, shopper marketing, consumer promotions, and live brand experiences. We strive to create and develop campaigns that connect consumers and brands through meaningful experiences and flawless execution.

About the Role:

The Program Manager is responsible for leading the execution of experiential marketing programs, retail activations, and shopper marketing initiatives from kickoff through completion. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams, clients, vendors, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the standard of excellence expected at RSM.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple moving pieces at once. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively navigate challenges while maintaining strong client and partner relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day management of assigned programs and projects, ensuring seamless execution from planning through final delivery
  • Develop and oversee project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and internal workflows to ensure projects stay on track
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining proactive communication and building strong working relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account teams, operations, creative, production, logistics, and external vendors to execute projects successfully
  • Coordinate sourcing of materials, assets, supplies, staffing, and other project needs to support program execution
  • Manage project budgets, expenses, invoicing timelines, and program financials while maintaining fiscal responsibility
  • Identify and proactively solve project challenges, communicating risks, updates, and solutions as needed
  • Maintain consistent communication regarding project updates, timelines, and deliverables with both internal teams and clients
  • Support the development of presentations, recaps, client-facing materials, and internal reporting documents
  • Oversee vendor, contractor, and partner relationships to ensure quality execution and adherence to project expectations
  • Maintain high-quality standards and strong attention to detail while balancing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Travel as needed to support client meetings, program launches, site visits, and live events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Project Management, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, account management, experiential marketing, agency operations, or related field
  • Strong project management, organization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining ownership of assigned projects
