Job description

About the Role:
We have a current opening for a Channel Marketing Analyst, Convenience and are actively reviewing applications.
As the Channel Marketing Analyst, Convenience Store Channel you will be responsible for providing analytical insights, identifying opportunities for growth, and for creating presentations to support the initiatives of the company. You will also be responsible for creating scorecards to track and analyze sales performance and identify category trends.
This position is hybrid, and will be based in our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ. This role will report to the Channel Marketing Director, Convenience Stores.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Channel Marketing Director for the Convenience Store Leadership Team in the sales function
  • Support the strategic sales agenda for the channel and influence the internal & cross-functional commercial sales team to ensure the right resources and investment levels to win in highly competitive marketplace.
  • Coordinate and execute the sales internal process and oversee volume forecasts across Ferrero's largest collective channel, specifically tentpole execution, innovation planning and display forecasting.
  • Lead Circana analysis for the channel every data period, working with the team on the insights that impacting the growth and performance of the channel.
  • Assist in management annual trade budget and work with shopper marketing team to create channel specific programs to grow Ferrero business.
  • Develop and execute new and innovative scorecards to analyze business performance and complete ad hoc requests for the sales and leadership teams.
  • Provide actionable insights on performance, trends and opportunities to the team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with convenience account manages, cross functional teams and broker partners.
  • Manage the replenishment and inventory of strategic distributors while monitoring changes that may impact the business performance.
  • Project coordination of Indy Retail Blitz Support and key trade show support for independent C-store.
  • Analyze trade spend compared to sales performance and targets, providing updates to leadership.
  • Assist Channel Marketing Director in volume and trade discussions on a weekly basis ensuring team stays within budget and continues to drive sales, while achieving monthly volume targets.
  • Utilize data sources (i.e., Circana/IRI, ACN, Kantar, ShopperSights, Power BI, MSA, Retail Link, RSI, EYC, SAP) to analyze the data and create compelling sales stories.

About You:
  • At least 3 + years' CPG experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required with concetration in business or related field preferred, M.B.A. is a plus
  • Data analytics experience and knowledge of Circana/IRI, AC Nielsen (ACN), ShopperSights, Spectra, Retail Link, RSI and EYC etc.
  • Sales experience a plus
  • Strong math, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Detailed oriented with solid planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a proactive and timely manner
  • Ability to generate positive relationships and foster a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while meeting project deadlines
  • Strong organizational agility and relationship building a must
  • Strong process improvement skills
  • Good communication skills, including strong writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and exceptional excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%

The base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $118,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
