Job description

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Retail Operations & Insights Senior Analyst to join our Retail team. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between our retail partners, internal supply chain teams, and warehouse operations - ensuring orders flow smoothly from purchase order to shelf. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced CPG environment and takes pride in keeping the supply chain running without friction.

Responsibilities

Retailer Purchase Order Management

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of retailer purchase orders, from receipt and confirmation through on-time shipment and delivery.
  • Monitor open POs daily, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies in quantity, pricing, ship windows, or routing requirements.
  • Utilize retailer portals (e.g., Retail Link, Vendor Central) and ensure compliance with retailer-specific EDI and fulfillment requirements.
  • Track and report on order fill rates, on-time delivery, and chargebacks; investigate root causes and drive corrective actions.

Warehouse & Logistics Communications

  • Coordinate daily with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and internal warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely order pick, pack, and ship execution.
  • Communicate shipping windows, retailer routing guides, and labeling requirements to warehouse partners, ensuring compliance to minimize chargebacks and retailer penalties.
  • Escalate and resolve fulfillment exceptions - including shorts, mispicks, and carrier delays - with urgency and clear documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date shipping instructions and SOPs for each retail account, updating warehouse partners as routing or compliance requirements change.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Retail Account Leads, Supply Chain, and Data Insights to ensure inventory availability aligns with retailer order demand.
  • Generate and distribute weekly operational reports covering order status, fill rates, and open issues for internal stakeholders and retail account teams.
  • Support new retailer onboarding by documenting order management workflows and communicating requirements across teams.
  • 4P Reporting via Syndicated & Retailer Data
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, or customer logistics, preferably within a CPG or consumer goods environment.
  • Familiarity with major retailer portals and EDI systems; experience with Walmart, Target, Amazon, or similar accounts a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with a bias toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.
