About the Role:

This role is responsible for coordinating the rollout of both US and global HR strategies, processes and annual business objectives into the region. This will entail working with the US HR team to support the localization and execution of US and global HR initiatives in the areas of engagement, organizational effectiveness, talent and performance management which support the overall objectives of the business. The role will also function as the HR business partner for the Hon Hai USA HQ team.



Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy Development. Partner with the US HR team in the development and implementation of HR strategies and plans in alignment with business goals.
  • Organization & Process Optimization. Support the US HR team in harmonizing local HR processes with global frameworks, while proactively identifying opportunities to optimize functional efficiency and agility.
  • Communications & Stakeholder Alignment. Help facilitate two-way communication between HR and the business teams to ensure effective deployment of HR objectives.
  • Compliance & HR Governance. As assigned, coordinate HR compliance audits and the development of action plans to mitigate risk.
  • HR Business Partnering. Deliver business-aligned HR services to the Hon Hai USA HQ team and the US-based Central Functions staff.
  • Talent Strategy & Rewards. Assist with the alignment of US talent and performance management, employee and leader development, and engagement and reward strategies to business objectives.
  • Market Intelligence & HR Metrics. Gather HR market intelligence and competitor insights; analyze US HR metrics and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Culture & People Experience. Help support efforts to build a consistent business culture and employee experience across the US.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressively more responsible experience in human resource management at both a region/corporate HQ level and in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of US labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience working in a matrixed multinational organization in an international environment; familiarity with the ICT/tech industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent preferred.
