Psychology Adjunct Faculty, Academic Year 2025-2026

Status: Part-time 

Description: The Psychology Department welcomes qualified instructors to join the adjunct faculty pool for the coming 2025-26 academic year. The department is particularly interested in hiring individuals able to offer courses in one or more of the following subject areas: Multi-Cultural Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Social Work, Theories of Counseling, Counseling Skills, and/or Statistics & Research Methods. Simpson adjunct instructors are expected to deliver courses in a variety of modalities—in-person, online, hyflex (hybrid)—utilizing Canvas (LMS) and classroom technology.

Minimum Qualifications: M.A. in Psychology, Counseling or related field.

  • Supervises employees in accordance with Simpson University policies and procedures (for supervisory positions)
  • Support the overflow needs of other departments within the respective university area.
  • Perform other duties in accordance with this position as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor.
