Job Description
We are seeking an experience and client-focused Workday Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of at least 2+ years of experience in Workday configuration, implementation, and support. In this role you will collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions, ensuring system optimization and alignment with industry best practices.
Location Specifics: U.S. based
Requirement: A minimum of 2 years of relevant Workday implementation experience in a client-facing role. Preferred industries include Consulting, IT, & Corporate settings
Language Requirement: English

Duties and Responsibilities:
Service Delivery Expertise
  • Follow delivery methodologies appropriate to the project and the consultant's role and promote industry best practices.
  • Deliver high quality execution and completion rates on all client engagements.
  • Develop and/or implement effective change management strategies, including communications, testing and training programs.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and personal integrity.
  • Engage in positive and pro-active communication with peers and colleagues, building effective relationships within and across the business.
  • Apply talent acquisition strategies and concepts in organizations with diverse needs.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Workday consultant, with a proven track record of supporting or implementing Workday solutions utilizing Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Modules: Proficiency in configuring at least one or more Workday HCM or Finance module(s) (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent & Performance, Financial Management, Recruiting, etc.)
  • Project Lifecycle: Experience with all phases of the Workday implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment).
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Workday tools such as Report Writer, calculated fields, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Core Connectors with a strong working knowledge of web services and the Workday security framework.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into understandable presentations for clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Systems and Technologies: Functional and/or technical experience implementing Paradox, HiredScore, Oracle, SAP, Workato, Jitterbit.
  • Consulting: A minimum of 2 years of client-facing consulting experience.
  • Certifications: Active Workday Certification in one or more HCM or Finance modules is highly preferred.
