Job description

About Us

LP Seafood & Specialty is a highly respected NYC-based seafood and specialty distribution company, providing exceptional quality products and personalized service to the region’s top restaurants, hotels, and specialty retailers. With a reputation built on care, professionalism, and excellence, we are seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team.

Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and winning new business, nurturing existing accounts, and representing LPSS with a level of competence, confidence, and care that earns trust and builds lasting partnerships. This is a fast-paced, independent, and highly visible role that requires sharp instincts, resilience, and a genuine passion for food and hospitality.

To ensure long-term success, all new Sales Representatives participate in a hands-on, rotational training program that immerses them in all areas of the business—including purchasing, operations, customer service, and sales. This experience builds deep product fluency, strengthens cross-functional relationships, and provides a comprehensive understanding of how we deliver on our promise of quality and service.

Our ideal candidate is a charismatic self-starter who knows how to build rapport without being pushy, takes initiative without being impulsive, and consistently follows through. You are a relationship-builder, a strategic thinker, and someone who thrives in a dynamic and competitive environment. You love the hustle, but you also love the product—and your customers feel that.

This is a remote/home-based position with daily travel to client sites and periodic visits to our Bronx office.

Position Summary

The Sales Representative will drive revenue and margin growth by targeting high-potential accounts, delivering exceptional service, and becoming a trusted advisor to customers. This individual will embody our brand and values while contributing to a collaborative, cross-functional sales culture that is built on performance and respect.
