• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique circumstances and challenges.
• Administer solution-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes educational staff, parents, and community resources to create a supportive network for students.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to students and their families, empowering them to engage in the treatment process.
• Stay informed about the latest research developments in mental health to continuously improve your clinical practice.

You will be working with a diverse population of students, ranging from elementary to high school age, who may be facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your role is pivotal in creating a safe and trusting space for these young individuals, enabling them to express their feelings and develop coping strategies to enhance their emotional resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapy interventions.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to effectively engage with students and families.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of mental health.

• Experience in school-based mental health settings or working with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
• Proficiency in using teletherapy technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
