About the Role
The Revenue Cycle Management Coordinator is responsible for clean claim submission, accounts receivable follow-up, collection and management of medical accounts, daily balancing controls, complex reporting, and completion of month-end and audit activities. This role also oversees credentialing for various insurance companies, ensuring all clinicians, locations, and services are properly credentialed with contracting payers to support timely reimbursement and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Submit clean claims in a timely and accurate manner to ensure proper reimbursement
• Perform accounts receivable follow-up and collections on outstanding medical claims
• Manage and reconcile medical accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain daily balancing controls and financial accuracy processes
• Prepare complex reports to support revenue cycle analysis and operational insights
• Complete month-end closing activities and support audit requirements
• Coordinate and manage credentialing with various insurance companies
• Ensure all clinicians, locations, and services are credentialed with contracting payers
• Monitor credentialing statuses and maintain updated documentation records
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and payer issues
Required Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience in medical billing and collections
• Advanced Excel experience
• Experience with accounts receivable management and reporting processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
