Job description

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide.

Job Description Summary:

SOLV Energy's Operational Technology Solutions (OTS) division provides state-of-the-art OT solutions focused on maximizing energy production of utility-scale renewable generation plants.
This role is fully remote. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate issuance ofRFPsand RFQswith integrators andMETvendors.

  • Coordinatecontractissuance forintegratorsand MET vendorsfor all active projects.

  • Maintain datasheet repository with the latest equipment in the master BOM.

  • Reviewproject drawings against the BOM for alignment and completeness.

  • Create, execute, and trackproject equipmentordersand ensure it is delivered totheappropriate destinationon time, including other project material needs:

  • Additionalequipment to site as directed by the OTS Project Manager (ad hoc orders).

  • MET switches as applicable for all SCADA projects managed by SOLV OTS.

  • Spare parts

  • Participate in SOW/Exhibit reviews as required by the OTS Pre-Construction Project Manager.

  • Participate in BOM reviewswith project teams.

  • Participate in Third Party SCADAproject contractreview and negotiations.

  • Providetimelyupdates toproject personnelfororder dates,material deliveries,pricing requests, etc.

  • Monitorthe OTS cradle point (net cloud) account and ensure cradle points areingood working order for project deployments.

  • Monitorthe OTS ATT/Verizon accounts and ensure needed service lines areestablishedand unused services lines areterminatedortransferred.

  • Monitorthe OTS Starlink accounts and ensure needed service lines areestablishedand unused services lines areterminatedor transferred.

  • Participate inadditionalcalls including Owner, Business Development, Estimating, etc., as needed.

  • Provide material and pricing updates to OTS Estimating.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • Collegedegree is preferred but notrequired. Related working experience can offsetacollege degree.

  • Minimum of2years ofutility-scalesolar industry experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and exhibits.

  • Cost tracking andbudget management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook,SharePoint, Power BI.

  • Experience usingprojectmanagement tools including MSProject,P6,orSmartsheet.

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, charismatic.
