This role is fully remote, allowing you to connect with clients through a secure video platform from any location in Washington. • Deliver high-quality therapy services to clients using a secure video platform, ensuring a private and safe environment for mental health discussions.
• Conduct initial assessments and develop tailored care plans aligned with individual client needs and therapeutic goals.
• Maintain thorough case documentation and manage a caseload effectively, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system for accurate record-keeping.
• Monitor client progress through regular sessions, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to promote successful outcomes.
• Address crisis situations when they arise, employing de-escalation techniques and referring clients to appropriate resources when needed.

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Tree Of Hope, you will primarily serve adults and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our diverse client population includes individuals from various backgrounds, each requiring unique therapeutic approaches. This position not only demands clinical skills but also a deep understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity toward different life experiences.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy is required.
• An active mental health licensure in Washington (such as LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC) is mandatory.
• Exceptional virtual communication skills are required to effectively engage clients in a remote setting.
• Adept organizational skills for managing documentation and client schedules is essential.

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical or outpatient environment is preferred.
• Experience with teletherapy and utilizing digital health tools to enhance client engagement is a plus.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based approaches is advantageous.
