As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Tree of Life, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs and goals.
• Facilitating personalized therapy sessions through telehealth, utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.
• Setting measurable therapeutic milestones and regularly monitoring client progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Maintaining strict adherence to ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality through meticulous documentation and data management.
• Participating in ongoing professional development through continuous education to enhance your therapeutic techniques and expand your expertise.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid state-issued license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• A demonstrated capacity for empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have:

• Previous experience in providing teletherapy or remote counseling services.
• Familiarity with a variety of treatment modalities and a solid understanding of mental health diagnoses.
• A proven track record of working with diverse populations, particularly with individuals experiencing trauma or co-occurring disorders.
