About the Role:
The Sales Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to the sales team to ensure efficient workflows and timely follow-up with both current and prospective customers. This role plays a key part in managing sales leads, maintaining accurate sales records, supporting trade show follow-up, and handling day-to-day communications. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
Process and route sales leads to the appropriate team members Support trade show follow-up, including literature and sample delivery Assist sales staff through outbound phone contacts as needed Maintain and update sales data, reports, and records Perform data entry to track sales literature, samples, and services Answer incoming calls, manage emails, and relay messages Respond to routine product questions and escalate when necessary.

High school diploma required; 2- or 4-year college degree preferred 3-5 years of experience in customer service or sales support Strong telephone, written communication, and computer skills Proficiency with databases and word processing tools Highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and resourceful Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment Team player who can also work independently This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, communicating with customers, and contributing to a collaborative sales team.
