We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We're always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

We're seeking a Senior Systems Architect to lead the design and optimization of our internal MDR service delivery systems and infrastructure. You'll architect scalable distributed systems that support 10x growth and enable our service delivery team members. This role requires someone who has shipped complex distributed systems at scale-not just designed them.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and document comprehensive system architecture for detection ingestion, ticketing, and customer data workflows

  • Develop integration patterns and API strategies connecting multiple systems

  • Create architectural roadmaps supporting 10x growth while reducing complexity

  • Design workflows enabling AI agent integration for automated triage and escalation

  • Guide engineering teams on architectural implementation and best practices

  • Audit current systems, identify bottlenecks, and recommend modernization strategies

  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and runbooks

What You'll Need:

  • Distributed Systems

    • 6+ years designing and shipping distributed systems in production

    • Proven experience debugging systems under high throughput (100k+ events/sec or equivalent)

    • Production experience with event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ)

    • Deep understanding of eventual consistency, distributed tracing, and failure modes

  • Security Operations Context

    • 5+ years in security operations, MDR, MSSP, SOC, or equivalent high-volume event processing

    • Understanding of security data formats (SIEM, EDR, SOAR) or ability to learn quickly

  • Technical Skills

    • Strong API design expertise (REST, GraphQL, event-driven)

    • Database architecture experience (relational and NoSQL)

    • Cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)

    • Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration in production

    • CI/CD pipeline design and observability architectures

  • Soft Skills

    • Excellent communication with multiple audiences

    • Pragmatic balance between technical excellence and shipping velocity

    • Strong documentation and diagramming skills

    • Mentoring ability

Bonus Points:
  • SOAR platform or security automation experience

  • Incident response or SOC operations background

  • Observability architecture experience (Datadog, Grafana)

  • AI/ML or agentic system architecture experience

  • Compliance framework knowledge (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
