What will you be doing?ย 

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) serves as the key technical point of contact for AvePoint enterprise customers. The TAM works in a consultative role to assist in successful platform integrations and account management to provide existing customers with technical recommendations throughย aย customer's product operations lifecycleย 

Your responsibilities will include:ย 

  • Becoming a trusted customer advocate by ensuring we are prompt and professional with all engagements, whether by phone or email.ย 
  • Helping customers maximize their use of our products by overcoming any challenges throughout implementation and general use.ย 
  • Performing architectural design sessions with existing clients to assist in architecting future and current deployments of software solutionsย 
  • Performing remote or onsite platform integration engagements for existing clientsย 
  • Deliveringย remoteย or onsite training sessions for clientsย 
  • Acting as the escalation point and leadย conference calls with customers who require experienced handling on sensitive support casesย 
  • Manage Account activities and coordinate internal and external support effortsย to deliver timely and effective responses.ย 
  • Delivering Technical documentation to support customer deployments and expansion efforts.ย 
  • Partnerย with Support,ย Customer Success,ย Salesย teams to ensure accountย stability, growth and adoption.ย

You're the main point of contact for your assigned customers, which means you will needย in-depthย product knowledge and exceptional troubleshooting skills. You will also act as the trusted advisor to other departments within AvePoint and will need to demonstrate strongย follow-throughย in all yourย technicalย queries.ย

Other qualities that will make youย a fitย forย this role include:ย 

  • BA/BS Degree (Computer Science/Engineering majors preferred)ย ย 
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and an understanding of Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Minimumย 3+ย years of work experience in aย relatedย technical field.ย (Ex.ย technical software support, pre-sales engineering,ย technicalย account management)ย ย 
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsย 
  • Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team settingย 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience testing and performing updates to a live production environmentย 
  • Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standardsย 
  • Competence with testing,ย logging and troubleshootingย tools and proceduresย 
  • Knowledgeย ofย anย Enterpriseย Contentย Management systemย ย 

While not required, it's an added plus if you also have: ย 

  • One or more cloud-related certifications (e.g., MS900, AZ900, or Google Cloud Platform credentials).
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell)ย 
  • Familiarityย withย RESTย APIย developmentย 

The Salary Range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
