You will play a crucial role in supporting individuals on their healing journey, helping them navigate the complexities of trauma and mental health challenges.

About the Organization

Allure Counseling Center is a leading provider of outpatient mental health services located in Elk Grove, California. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and understanding environment for individuals affected by trauma and mental health disorders. We utilize evidence-based practices to address issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our dedicated team of mental health professionals collaborates to ensure that all patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.

Work Environment

As a remote staff member, you will engage with patients primarily through telehealth platforms, utilizing digital tools to foster therapeutic relationships and monitor progress. Our organization values flexibility, allowing you to adapt your schedule (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) based on client requirements while ensuring timely access to care. We emphasize teamwork and collaboration in providing the highest quality of mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patientโ€™s trauma history, emotional state, and overall mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, using methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma experiences, learn effective coping strategies, and foster resilience.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to each patientโ€™s situation.
  • Provide immediate support during crises by implementing crisis intervention strategies that prioritize patient safety and emotional stability.
  • Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma and effective coping mechanisms while providing guidance on available resources for continued support.
  • Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring secure electronic record-keeping.
  • Participate in supervisory sessions, case consultations, and interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance treatment planning and professional growth.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in trauma-focused therapy practices and integrate new knowledge into your work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients who are trauma survivors, many of whom may experience PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other challenges. Our patient population often requires specialized therapy approaches to facilitate healing and recovery. By addressing their unique trauma narratives, you will help them regain a sense of control and agency in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care methodologies.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and remote counseling technologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, underscored by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-focused therapy.
  • Experience leading both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based treatment techniques.
  • A collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities in complex situations.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with your level of experience. Allure Counseling Center provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) along with paid holidays.
  • Professional liability insurance to ensure peace of mind while you provide care.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
