About the Organization

Allure Counseling Center is a specialized outpatient facility situated in Moreno Valley, California, dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by trauma. Our mission is to empower survivors through evidence-based therapeutic practices, ensuring they have a safe and nurturing environment where they can explore their experiences and emotions fully. Our team comprises skilled professionals who are passionate about mental health and committed to bringing positive change to our community.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, allowing you to deliver services from any location that promotes productivity and comfort. You will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility for patients who may have barriers to in-person visits. Our operations focus strongly on collaborative teletherapy practices, which promote connection and efficiency in treatment delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to develop a thorough understanding of each patient’s history and therapeutic needs.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, using evidence-based practices tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and support staff, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for patients.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during emergency situations related to trauma.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma-related responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for additional support.
  • Maintain precise documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development to enhance trauma-informed care competencies.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and clinical practices in the field of trauma therapy, integrating new insights into treatment strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who are experiencing the effects of trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By providing compassionate care in a telehealth format, you will be contributing to the recovery paths of diverse populations, including those who may have limited access to traditional mental health resources.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on establishing a rapport with patients, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-affected populations is preferred.
  • Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with digital communication tools.
Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Allure Counseling Center is committed to the well-being of our employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health insurance covering medical, dental, and vision.
