Title: Release Train Engineer III w/ Program Management
Duration: 6+ Months contract with possible extension
HOT BUTTONS:
• Must have minimum of 8+ years' experience in an actual RTE role, with Agile or SAFe exp.
• Must have the background in Program Management with years of exp as an RTE OR vice versa, along with the Snowflake exp.
• While the Program Manager experience is super helpful, that alone will not make them a good candidate.
Job Description
• The Release Train Engineer (RTE) has primary purpose of supporting an Agile Release Train (ART) by steering it to success and navigating the complexity of delivering software in large environments.
• The RTE helps resolve and escalate impediments, manages risk, helps assure value delivery, and drives program level continuous improvement.
• The RTE is accountable for the overall coordination, execution, and delivery of value through the program while ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Program Management, Portfolio, Program, and Project Support
• Business Process Improvement, Release and Deployment
• Fill gaps on the RTC and for the train.
• Works under general direction. Uses discretion in identifying and responding to complex issues and assignments.
• Usually receives specific instructions and has work reviewed at frequent milestones.
