Position: SAP AGILE SCRUM MASTER
Navaide is seeking a certified SAP Agile Scrum Master to support Agile Scrum Teams on a Department of Defense contract. The candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach team members on SAFe and Scrum principles to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. This role requires a practitioner who can operate effectively in a scaled Agile environment within a DoD or Navy ERP program context.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on SAFe and Scrum principles, practices, and mindset
• Identify, track, and remove impediments that block team progress, escalating as appropriate to program leadership
• Maintain and manage the team backlog in coordination with the Product Owner, ensuring stories are well-defined, estimated, and ready for sprint execution
• Track and report on sprint velocity, team capacity, and delivery metrics to program leadership
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through structured retrospectives and actionable improvement plans
• Coordinate dependencies and integration points with other Scrum Teams and functional workstreams
• Support PI Planning events and ensure team objectives are aligned with program-level goals
• Maintain team boards and Agile tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps to provide real-time visibility into team status
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master on Agile or SAFe delivery teams
• Active SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent certification (CSM, PSM)
• Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams in Scrum principles
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Rally
• Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Eligibility for and willingness to obtain security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a Scrum Master on a DoD or Navy ERP program
• Familiarity with SAP functional processes in at least one module area such as SD, FI, FM, MM, or PS
• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification
• Experience supporting PI Planning events in a scaled Agile environment
• Navy ERP or One-ERP program experience
