A Remote Project Officer is a professional who manages, coordinates, and oversees projects for an organization while working from a location outside the traditional office setting. Their responsibilities typically include planning project activities, tracking progress, communicating with team members, and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget. Working remotely, they rely heavily on digital communication and project management tools to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. This role is common in organizations that support flexible or distributed work environments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Project Officer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Project Officer, you need strong project management abilities, organizational skills, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience in fields such as business or project administration. Familiarity with project management software (like Asana, Trello, or MS Project), cloud collaboration tools (such as Slack or Microsoft Teams), and sometimes certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 is typically required. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills are crucial for managing remote teams and stakeholders effectively. These skills ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, while maintaining clear coordination and productivity in a remote work environment.

How does a Remote Project Officer effectively manage communication and collaboration with distributed teams?

As a Remote Project Officer, effective communication is achieved through regular virtual meetings, clear documentation, and the use of collaborative tools like Slack, Trello, or Asana. Building strong relationships with team members across different locations requires proactive outreach and frequent check-ins to ensure everyone is aligned and project goals are met. Challenges can include coordinating across time zones and maintaining team engagement, but these can be addressed by setting clear expectations and fostering an inclusive remote culture. Strong organizational skills and adaptability are key to keeping projects on track while working remotely.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Remote, Part-Time with Equity Partners

Atlanta, GA • Remote

Job description

Job Overview

As a Remote Part-Time Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of company operations, with a strong focus on customer service, vendor coordination, and account management. You will act as the primary operational lead—ensuring clients are supported, vendors are managed properly, and internal processes run smoothly.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, not a strategic or board-level position. The CEO title reflects ownership-level responsibility, accountability, and long-term partnership, not a traditional corporate hierarchy.

This role includes a long-term partnership opportunity, allowing eligible team members to participate in the company’s profit-sharing and equity vesting program, governed by a separate Partnership & Equity Vesting Agreement.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Provide responsive customer support and resolve issues professionally
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors to ensure work is completed accurately and on time
  • Track jobs, communications, and updates using CRM and vendor management systems
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer and vendor records
  • Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure client satisfaction
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with all stakeholders
  • Participate in onboarding, training sessions, and regular check-ins
  • Follow company policies, confidentiality requirements, and operational procedures

Compensation & Hours

(Aligned with Employment Agreement)

  • Position Type: Part-Time, At-Will Employment
  • Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour
  • Expected Hours: Approximately 10–12 hours per week
  • Pay Schedule: Paid twice per month (5th and 20th)
  • Work Location: Fully remote (work from home)

Partnership & Profit Sharing

(Aligned with Partnership & Equity Vesting Agreement)

  • Eligible employees may participate in the company’s profit-sharing and equity vesting program
  • Vesting begins after one (1) full year of continuous service
  • Ownership and profit participation vest at 1% per year, capped at 10% total
  • Profit distributions are made twice per year
  • All partnership terms are governed by a separate written agreement and are not guaranteed through employment alone

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in customer service, operations, or vendor coordination
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must successfully pass a background check
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must have a personal computer, headset, and reliable high-speed internet
  • Strong organization, multitasking, and time-management skills

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We believe ownership mindset matters. This role is designed for someone who wants responsibility, accountability, and upside, without corporate politics.

What we offer:

  • Real operational ownership (not just a title)
  • Clear path to profit sharing and equity partnership
  • A respectful, execution-focused culture
  • Employee profit sharing every two quarters
  • Fully remote work flexibility

Legal Notice

Employment is at-will, meaning either party may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or notice. Partnership participation, equity vesting, and profit sharing are governed solely by separate written agreements.
