• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and positive behavior support strategies that align with each client's needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with regulatory standards, ensuring that all records reflect the client’s progress and care accurately.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as part of your practice, guiding the therapeutic interventions with proven methodologies.
• Collaborate with various teams and programs to implement and evaluate positive behavior support plans, fostering a supportive environment conducive to growth.
• Actively participate in the organization’s licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring all practices meet the required standards.
• Serve as a liaison with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance client support and resources.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels to uphold contract standards and align our mission with community needs.
• Pursue continuous personal and professional growth by engaging in ongoing education, attending conferences, and representing our organization at state and local meetings.
• Promote the values and mission of Medical Rehabilitation Services within the community, advocating for individuals seeking mental health support.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall success of our services.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing emotional distress, substance use disorders, and those requiring support for developmental disabilities and brain injuries. Our clients are seeking compassionate guidance to navigate their challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes in their lives.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is essential to apply for this position.
• Must possess an Independent LMHC License issued by the state board, enabling you to provide unsupervised clinical services.
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records and prepare relevant reports in compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting, fostering a cooperative environment for comprehensive care.
• Strong communication skills that enable you to effectively express ideas and therapeutic interventions to clients and colleagues alike.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions grounded in professional knowledge and ethics.

• Previous experience in a community health setting or similar organizations preferred, particularly with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery services.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices in assessment and treatment planning.
• Familiarity with maintaining compliance in documentation and accreditation processes.
