This full-time remote role allows for flexible scheduling, facilitating a strong work-life balance while committing to vital support for our community's mental health needs.

About the Organization

At Progressive Life Counseling Services, we are committed to improving the lives of individuals by providing exceptional mental health care. Our organization offers a wide array of services, including emotional wellness therapies, substance use recovery programs, support for individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing acquired brain injuries. We prioritize respect, integrity, and compassion in our interactions, working collaboratively to foster community engagement and individual recovery through person-driven programming.

Work Environment

The position is designed for a fully remote work environment, suitable for professionals who thrive in independent settings with a blend of collaboration. The role integrates seamlessly into our Community Health Clinic model, where counselors like you can access supportive resources and connect with teams working towards mutual goals. Our commitment to a supportive workplace is reflected not only in productivity bonuses but also in the opportunities for professional advancement and continuous education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.
  • Document treatment progress and maintain comprehensive records that align with regulatory standards to ensure compliance and quality of care.
  • Employ evidence-based screening tools and methodologies, collaborating closely with the clinical team to determine the most effective interventions.
  • Actively engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively develop and implement positive behavior support plans and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable liaison to service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering strong relationships that facilitate client support.
  • Promote agency values through effective communication, ensuring transparency and fostering partnerships that meet contract standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, staying informed about best practices in mental health counseling.
  • Assist the Clinic Director with other duties as assigned, demonstrating a flexible approach to meet the dynamic needs of the agency.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Progressive Life Counseling Services, you will work primarily with a diverse population, including individuals facing emotional distress, those overcoming substance use challenges, and clients navigating developmental disabilities. Your role will significantly contribute to their recovery journey—each session aims to enhance their mental resilience and develop essential coping skills.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in a mental health discipline is mandatory.
  • An independent LMHC license is required to ensure that you can practice without supervision and provide direct client care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in community mental health settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and integrated treatment approaches will be advantageous.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse community resources and agencies is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Monthly productivity bonuses based on individual and team performance.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities, including conferences and workshops.
  • Flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and sick leave, promoting health and wellness.
  • 403B retirement plan with a 3% match to help you save for the future.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance to ensure you and your family have access to comprehensive care.
  • Childcare and dependent care accounts to support your family life.
  • A hiring bonus to welcome you to our team, reflecting our commitment to finding the best talent.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Progressive Life Counseling Services, we prioritize your professional growth. You will have access to supervision and guidance, along with opportunities to represent our agency at state-level meetings and committees. As you build your expertise, you will have the potential to take on leadership roles within the organization, influencing policy and practice in mental health services.
