Role Overview:
Could you be our next Senior Account Manager - Group Benefits? Globe Life is looking for a Senior Account Manager - Group Benefits to join the team!
The Senior Account Manager plays a critical role in managing the organization's most strategic and complex client relationships within the Group Benefits division. This position serves as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring the successful delivery of services, anticipating client needs, and driving long-term satisfaction and retention. The Senior Account Manager partners with the Sales Team and GLGB's Third Party Administrator (TPA) partners to lead strategic planning and execution for each assigned account and collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure client goals are met and exceeded. Senior Account Managers may provide training and guidance to Account Managers I and II.
This is a remote/work-from-home position.
What You Will Do:
  • Serve as a primary contact for assigned key employer group clients for issue resolution, reporting requests, and renewal preparation.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts and broker partners.
  • Proactively communicate with clients regarding account status, policy updates, and renewal timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external TPA partners to facilitate smooth client interactions and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting and TPAs to complete policy change requests and prepare client renewal packages.
  • Monitor account performance and proactively identify opportunities for account growth or administrative process improvement.
  • Prepare and distribute client reports, and create stewardship presentations illustrating account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records and documentation in Salesforce.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues requiring coordination across multiple departments and partners.
  • Identify recurring client issues and trends to support continuous service improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance to Account Managers I and II as needed.

What You Can Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience in insurance, benefits administration, or client services.
  • Previous exposure to insurance, employee benefits, or B2B account management strongly preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of group insurance products and administrative concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-facing demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data management and client documentation.
  • Self-motivated with leadership and mentorship abilities; requires little oversight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred but not required.
