Review all ingredient Certificates of Analysis (COAs), file internally, and communicate externally as needed
Responsible for external certifications pertaining to organic, non-GMO, and kosher - including maintenance, renewal, and execution to keep all certificates current
Review specifications with R&D-including ingredient statements, nutrition facts, and allergen declarations to ensure accuracy across all SKUs
Assist with onboarding of new supplier partners and new SKUs, and help maintain efficient ways of working and compliance with product specifications.

Work cross-functionally with Innovation Project Teams to represent quality in the commercialization of new products
Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure appropriate storage and handling of raw materials through finished product
Monitor cold chain integrity across co-manufacturers and distribution partners to ensure frozen product quality and safety standards are maintained
Conduct contract manufacturer audits and quality control checks in accordance with established audit schedules
Support HACCP plan reviews and verify that Critical Control Points (CCPs) are being monitored and documented appropriately at co-manufacturing facilities
Monitor and analyze quality data and consumer complaints to identify potential issues
Investigate quality complaints and out-of-standard issues, identify root causes, and support corrective action implementation and escalation as needed
Partner with sales and customer service teams to support resolution of day-to-day quality concerns and escalate trends or significant risks as appropriate.
Administer and maintain documentation associated with GoodPop's approved supplier program, ensuring all ingredient and packaging suppliers meet required food safety and quality standards
Support compliance with contract manufacturers' Food Safety (GFSI) Programs, allergen programs, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Monitor and support compliance with FDA regulations including FSMA Preventive Controls, and applicable CFR requirements
Assist in the development and execution of recall procedures and crisis management efforts
Maintain mock recall readiness, supporting periodic mock recall exercises to ensure traceability and response procedures are effective
Support the management of customer and retailer quality questionnaires, portals, and compliance documentation requests
