In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, who are experiencing various psychological and emotional challenges. This includes but is not limited to individuals struggling with stress management, relationship issues, trauma, and serious mental health disorders. Your ability to build rapport with clients from different backgrounds will be vital in delivering effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license in New York State as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health services, preferably in a telehealth or outpatient setting.
  • Solid knowledge of various mental health disorders and familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good at facilitating discussions and building trust with clients.
