The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for:

• Providing individual and group counseling sessions based on accepted therapeutic methods, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.
• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to inform treatment plans tailored to address client-specific concerns.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, including progress notes and treatment updates, in compliance with established department policies and state regulations.
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.
• Delivering crisis intervention services when needed, assessing urgent situations, and collaboratively formulating immediate and effective strategies to support clients in their time of need.
• Engaging with clients' families and support systems, providing education, resources, and guidance to facilitate effective discharge planning and ongoing support.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Best Discoveries Wellness Clinic, you will work with a varied client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will help address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, facilitating changes that lead to improved emotional resilience and overall well-being.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or an equivalent licensure.
• A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Robust computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records systems, MS Office, and effective communication tools.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly desirable:

• Experience in crisis intervention and management, specifically in high-pressure environments.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.
• Previous work with specific populations such as LGBTQ+, adolescents, or those with co-occurring disorders.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
