Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands including Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we've built multiple sales channels across DTC websites and third-party marketplaces. We're passionate about designing inspiring, on-trend furniture that brings customers' home décor dreams to life.
We are seeking a new member to join our Ecommerce team. Are you ready to be part of something amazing?
Role Overview
We're looking for a Site Merchandiser to support the digital merchandising strategy for our adult brands portfolio, including Plank + Beam and Bunk Beds for Adults. This role owns the day-to-day site experience across these brands - from product launches and collection pages to search performance and data analysis - partnering closely with the Site Merchandising Manager and cross-functional teams to keep the online shopping experience consistent and high-performing.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with new product launches, ensuring products go live accurately and on schedule
  • Identify and own upsell and cross-sell opportunities through product recommendations
  • Own product attributes and taxonomy standards, and manage product tags to support search, filtering, and site navigation
  • Support manual Shopify updates, including menu changes, enhanced content uploads, and combined listings
  • Create and update collection pages to align with merchandising strategy and seasonal priorities
  • Help maintain and audit search and browse performance across our site search and discovery platforms
  • Review product pages for content completeness, accuracy, and consistency across brands
  • Pull and organize data to support merchandising analysis and decision-making
  • Execute digital merchandising strategies across the site in partnership with the Site Merchandising Manager
  • Support special projects as needed

  • Collection and product pages stay current, complete, and consistent across brands
  • Search and browse performance steadily improves through better tagging and taxonomy
  • Merchandising data is organized and readily available to inform decisions

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in site merchandising, ecommerce, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with Shopify preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, especially around product data accuracy and consistency
  • Comfortable working with data to inform decisions
  • Organized and able to manage multiple ongoing tasks and priorities across two brands
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate cross-functionally
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with site search and discovery tools, such as Constructor
  • Understanding of product detail page (PDP) and product listing page (PLP) best practices
  • Interest or experience in the home/furniture or DTC ecommerce space
