About The Role

As a proofreader and quality assurance (QA) tester you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and quality of marketing communications within a regulated pharmaceutical environment; providing suggestions on grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. You will work closely with content writers, graphic designers, junior production associates, web developers and other stakeholders to make sure that final asset is of high quality. This position involves reviewing notably email content for editorial accuracy, and adherence to industry regulations and internal standards.

What You'll Do

  • Review and proofread a wide range of content and documentation including print and digital - especially emails, newsletters and webpages
  • Identify and providing suggestions on grammatical, spelling errors, punctuation and consistency. Proactively able to categorize errors into various categories, such as – Cosmetic, Grammatical, spelling etc.
  • Comparative reviews against the originally briefed template with the draft version (across desktop & mobile versions);
  • Ensure the quality of the deliverable meets the expectations
  • Check links, functionalities, formatting and layout
  • Meet established deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Ability to capture feedback that can be shared with developers for implementing
  • Verifying the updated file post implementation of feedback and providing sign off
  • Adherence to the timelines that has been finalized at the start of the project
  • Ability to validate/check the developed email on tools like Email on acid or Litmus, validation/checking limited to content verification only and not for functional testing

About You

  • Previous quality check, proofreading or editorial experience of medical content
  • Excellent command of the local language and keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is a plus
  • Confident to use work management tools like JIRA
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in sensitive materials
  • Understanding of scientific or technical terminology is advantageous
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with relevant email marketing experience
  • Preference candidates would have medical or pharmaceutical background, or other highly regulated sector experience, to provide valuable suggestions
