This remote opportunity offers you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while providing essential mental health services. You will be navigating an advanced outpatient mental health clinic environment equipped with the latest technologies aimed at enhancing patient assessments and interventions. As an LCSW at Maxim Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will encompass a variety of clinical tasks including:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of patients to identify mental health needs and concerns.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, incorporating evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Providing psychotherapy services through various modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address a spectrum of mental health conditions.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of clinical interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals—to provide integrated care that promotes optimal patient outcomes.
• Facilitating regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance clinical knowledge and improve service delivery.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to empower them throughout the recovery journey.
• Staying current with developments in the mental health field to continuously improve clinical practice based on emerging research.
• Managing a full caseload while ensuring treatment milestones are achieved effectively and ethically.

Your expertise will be directed toward a diverse array of patients seeking support through our detox facility. You will engage with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health complications, and personal crises, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs. Each patient’s journey is unique, and your role will be vital in guiding them through recovery, significantly impacting their mental, emotional, and social well-being.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Illinois license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of three years' experience providing psychotherapy services within a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with diverse populations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

While not mandatory, experience with specific therapeutic modalities, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and previous work in detox or substance abuse settings will enhance your application.
