How much do full time remote healthcare jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 31, 2026, the average yearly pay for full time remote healthcare in the United States is $97,659.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $87,500.00 and $108,500.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are full time remote healthcare jobs?

Full time remote healthcare jobs are positions in the healthcare industry that allow employees to work from home or another remote location on a standard full-time schedule, typically 35-40 hours per week. These roles can include positions such as telehealth nurses, remote medical coders, healthcare customer service representatives, and virtual care coordinators. The rise of telemedicine and digital health tools has expanded opportunities for healthcare professionals to provide services, support patients, and manage healthcare operations without being physically present in a healthcare facility. Remote healthcare jobs offer flexibility and can help organizations reach patients in underserved or rural areas. However, specific job duties and requirements will vary depending on the employer and position.

How does working remotely in a full-time healthcare role impact collaboration with clinical teams and patients?

In a full-time remote healthcare position, collaboration with clinical teams and patients is often facilitated through secure digital platforms, video conferencing, and electronic health records. While you may not be physically present, consistent communication and clear documentation are essential to ensure continuity of care. You'll typically participate in virtual team meetings and case discussions, and may face challenges such as time zone differences or technology issues. However, remote roles often offer flexibility and the opportunity to work with diverse teams across various locations, enhancing your professional network and skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in a full-time remote healthcare position, and why are they important?

To excel in a full-time remote healthcare role, you typically need clinical expertise, a healthcare-related degree, and relevant certifications or licensure. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication systems is crucial. Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and effective virtual communication help you build trust with patients and collaborate with remote teams. These abilities ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and smooth operations in a remote healthcare environment.

We aren't just filling seats; we are "dissolving the gap" in the U.S. healthcare system. In this role, you will be a high-volume "talent hunter," identifying and placing a diverse range of medical professionals-from Mental Health Counselors, to Registered Nurses and Physicians to Allied Health and specialized clinical staff-into top-tier healthcare facilities coast-to-coast.

Work Schedule: M to F 9-5 pm

Work Type: 100% Remote W2 Full Time

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nationwide Sourcing: Identify and recruit qualified healthcare professionals across all modalities (Nursing, Physician, Allied Health, and Administration) in all 50 states.
  • High-Impact Outreach: Drive candidate engagement through massive "text blast" campaigns and high-volume daily call targets (50-100 calls) to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Clinical Vetting: Conduct daily video interviews on Zoom to assess licensure, clinical competency, and cultural fit for hospitals, outpatient centers, and urgent care clinics.
  • Full-Cycle Pipeline Management: Own the recruiter lifecycle from initial sourcing and "selling" the opportunity to credentialing and final placement.
  • Market Agility: Rapidly adapt to various medical specialties and regional market demands, ensuring Gotham remains the first choice for general healthcare staffing.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain "obsessive" accuracy in candidate records using our tech stack (LinkedIn Recruiter, and proprietary ATS tools).

  • The "Hunter" Mindset: A self-motivated closer who thrives on the hustle and is hungry for a six-figure income.
  • General Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with various medical licenses (LMHC, PT, RN, LPN, MD, DO, PA, NP) and the general credentialing process in the US.
  • Sales DNA: Proven success in a high-pressure, metrics-driven environment-whether in recruitment, B2B sales, or high-volume business development.
  • Remote Mastery: Expert at managing your own time and maintaining high productivity in a 100% remote setting.
  • Communication Powerhouse: Ability to connect authentically with medical professionals and "sell" them on their next career-defining move.

Why Join Gotham Enterprises?
