• Conduct thorough intake assessments utilizing both structured interviews and standardized assessment tools to identify client needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions and lead group therapy workshops addressing issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, ensuring each session is client-centered and goal-oriented.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals to coordinate care, ensuring our clients receive holistic support.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, webinars, and training sessions to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay up-to-date with industry standards.
• Contribute valuable feedback to enhance service delivery processes and program effectiveness, promoting best practices within the clinic.

Your role will be focused on serving a diverse clientele, with varying backgrounds and mental health challenges. You will empower clients to develop coping strategies, improve their quality of life, and enhance their emotional resilience through targeted therapeutic interventions. The comprehensive nature of our community health clinic allows you to work with individuals, couples, and families, ensuring varied experiences and fulfilling work.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• An active, relevant license (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of California is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or therapy is required, demonstrating commitment and proficiency in the field.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, showcasing your ability to establish trust and rapport with clients swiftly and effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred, allowing for seamless documentation and patient management.

While not mandatory, experience working with a diverse client base and awareness of culturally sensitive practices are highly valued. Additionally, specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care or family systems therapy can enhance your candidacy.

• You will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
