A Commercial Solution Sales Executive, Business Network role at OpenText is more than just a sales position - it's an opportunity to help organizations transform the way they connect, collaborate, and operate in the digital economy.

As a key contributor to our Business Network sales organization, you will drive meaningful business outcomes by helping clients modernize their digital supply chains, streamline B2B communications, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives. You will engage with enterprise organizations, build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, and position OpenText solutions that enable businesses to securely exchange critical information across their global ecosystems.

This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, and helping organizations unlock the full value of cloud-based integration, EDI, managed file transfer, and digital commerce solutions.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders and business decision-makers to understand challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, contract execution, and client success.
  • Position OpenText Business Network solutions, including B2B Integration, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Managed File Transfer, and Digital Commerce capabilities.
  • Drive pipeline development through proactive prospecting, account expansion, and strategic opportunity management.
  • Collaborate with Solution Consultants, ClientSuccess, Marketing, Partners, and internal sales teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales activity tracking through CRM and established sales methodologies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 5+ years of successful enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, or technology sales experience with a consistent track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proven experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles with enterprise clients and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with C-level executives and business leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development, pipeline generation, and expanding strategic client relationships.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client challenges and align technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience selling B2B integration, EDI, managed file transfer, supply chain, digital commerce, or related enterprise solutions preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. Salary Range: $109,000-$163,400 + variable; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
