Job description

We are an award winning, fast-growing company dedicated to improving microscopy. Our unique product allows us to sell on value and need rather than solely on price. Our simplified sales process means we can spend more time doing what we love (selling), and less time on administrative tasks and support. Our unique marketing approach gives us a significant advantage. Top candidates will have familiarity with fluorescence microscopy and live cell imaging.
We are seeking top performing life science sales professionals based in the Mid-Atlantic. Territory includes Philadelphia, PA, WV, DE, and VA.
The Regional Sales Manager is a top-performing microscopy sales professional with territory experience. The RSM must have demonstrated experience with fluorescence microscopy and live cell imaging. Employees must be currently located in the general sales area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Develop and grow sales of our award-winning hybrid microscopes.
• Execute successful product demonstrations.
• Create new opportunities on your own.
• Build effective relationships with distributors and customers.
• Negotiate configurations and pricing.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Work in a team selling environment with FAS and specialists
• Overnight travel is expected (amount is dependent on territory size)
• Ability to lift between 50-60lbs
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2 years of life science sales or extensive hands-on experience with microscopy.
• Top achiever in previous roles.
• Possess exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills to explain and demonstrate sophisticated technical products.
• A fast learner (and good listener) who understands the needs of today's life science researchers.
• Have an understanding for life sciences and closing deals -- it is about passion as much as the job.
• Must be authorized to work in US without sponsorship.

• Have a proven track record as the best of the best/top tier producer in sales and service.
• Have cultivated strong relationships in academic research and biotech.
• Have experience selling through large distribution partners.
• Have sold confocal microscopes.
