Overview
We are looking for an experienced Learning Program Manager who will create and implement new programs and trainings. This role will perform needs analysis, develop the overall learning strategy, design curriculum and conduct program planning activities to track and manage all work associated with the development and delivery of training content. This role will be executive facing and requires strong instructional design experience, as well as program management exposure and change management experience. This position will require extensive collaboration with multiple cross functional department teams. This is a 6+ month long consulting engagement with work primarily aligned to Central Time (CT) business hours. While the role is primarily remote, travel to Houston, TX will be required for key project milestones and strategic planning sessions, with anticipated travel of approximately 20-50%. Candidates must be available to work Central Time hours and be fully authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or transfer. Please note that C2C arrangements are not available for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Conduct training needs assessments and gather requirements from internal teams
• Develop learning objectives that describe desired training objectives
• Design training curriculum and learning plans to ensure performance objectives are met
• Build training program plan; manage schedules and dependencies
• Develop training materials including PowerPoint presentations, hand-outs, scenarios, exercises, and other documents
• May travel to client organization sites to assess training needs
• Develop and implement training assessments to ensure knowledge and skill retention
• Assist in developing any reference materials
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Participate with post training analysis, feedback and any necessary calibrations
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
• Minimum of 4-5 years creating and delivering content in a technology environment in an instructional designer role
• Experience with program management in developing, defining and delivering new programs
• Change management methodology experience such as PROSCI is preferred and helpful
• Skilled in coordinating training efforts including scheduling classrooms, printing materials, accessing training databases, and troubleshooting training technology
• Knowledge of how to conduct a training needs assessment
• Basic knowledge of the curriculum development process including analysis, instructional design, developing outlines, learning objectives, materials, and assessments
• Ability to communicate complex training content to participants, answer questions, and ensure understanding
• Ability to deliver digital/online, classroom, or one-on-one training
• Advanced written and oral communication skills, including strong knowledge of PowerPoint and any learning tool platforms needed.
• Coaching or Training certification is preferred
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or related discipline
Compensation
Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long term consulting opportunity with an annual salary range of $90,000-$130,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
