The Phoenix Psychotherapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote telehealth team. This position operates in a fully remote telehealth environment, enabling you to connect with patients using virtual platforms. • Collaborate with primary care practitioners to identify and address mental health and psychosocial issues, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the care team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations to develop tailored therapy objectives and treatment recommendations.
• Provide timely mental health interventions to patients in need of emergency treatment, ensuring quick and effective care.
• Assess and advise on which patients would benefit from additional specialized mental health services, coordinating referrals as necessary.
• Perform regular follow-up evaluations to monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Work actively with patients to create relapse prevention strategies and support their ongoing mental health journey.
• Identify at-risk patients and engage in the development of preventative programs addressing their unique needs.
• Coordinate the delivery of mental health services, including collaboration with other treatment providers, depending on patient consent.
• Document all patient interactions and progress thoroughly and accurately within the treatment charts, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Maintain open communication with primary care providers to keep them informed of patients' mental health needs and ongoing treatment strategies.
• Facilitate behavioral changes in patients experiencing or at risk of physical health issues, empowering them to adopt healthier lifestyles.
• Provide patients with essential self-management techniques and educational resources to enhance their involvement in treatment.
• Consult with clinic management and team members on behavioral health services, using insights for program development and evaluation.
• Assist clients in adhering to prescribed medical therapies initiated by their primary care providers, including managing any pharmaceutical side effects.
• Abide by the Clinical Professional's Code of Ethics and undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned.

You will have the opportunity to support a diverse range of clients, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, different age groups, and those experiencing complex mental health issues. Our telehealth service enables clients who may be geographically or socially isolated to receive essential support. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients understand and manage their mental health, guiding them to resources that promote recovery and resilience.

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling is required.
• A valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license is essential.
• Strong foundational knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques, treatment planning, and mental health evaluation.
• Understanding of DSM-IV diagnoses, along with experience in family therapy, group therapy, and child psychotherapy.
• The ability to provide culturally competent care, with fluency in both English and Spanish highly desirable.
• Capability to navigate community resources effectively and engage with patients on a holistic level.
• Comprehensive understanding of behavioral systems and effective therapy practices.
• Emotional and physical resilience to handle the demands of a counseling role.

• Previous experience working in a telehealth environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technologies and platforms to facilitate client engagement.
• Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans within collaborative team settings.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
