• Conduct intake assessments and evaluate clients’ mental health needs to establish a personalized treatment plan.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic practices to work with individuals, families, and groups, tailoring strategies to fit diverse client circumstances.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines while utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems effectively.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in workshops to stay updated on the latest trends and research in mental health.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients from different backgrounds, using a culturally sensitive approach to treatment that considers the individual’s life context and societal influences on their experiences.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of three years of counseling experience, with a strong preference for clinical engagement.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the mental health profession.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse clients and build trust.
• Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team to provide holistic client care.
• Proficient in the use of EMR software and technology relevant to mental health documentation.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-focused therapy, or substance misuse treatment is considered highly desirable.
• A background in developing and leading group therapy sessions will be beneficial.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient or remote therapy setting is advantageous.

• Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
