Job Overview:
 
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
  • The Varicent ICM Consultant will support Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) applications by managing production support, system stability, enhancements, and deployments. 
  • The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Varicent modules, ELT processes, release management, and ITIL-based production support operations.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Varicent ICM tools including Composer, Web Reports, Web Forms, Configure, Workflow, Schedule modules, and Pipe Configuration (ELT).
  • Experience working as an ICM and ELT consultant in implementation, maintenance, development support, and design projects.
  • Experience supporting business queries, ad-hoc reporting, and data extracts.
  • Strong experience with release management processes.
  • Experience creating specifications, test cases, builds, testing, deployments, and production support.
  • Experience supporting production systems using ITIL methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Experience:

  • Experience managing end-to-end production support for Varicent ICM applications.
  • Experience monitoring daily and monthly processing cycles.
  • Experience resolving data, calculation, and payout-related issues.
  • Experience handling SLA-driven incident, problem, and change management activities.
  • Experience supporting month-end processing activities, validations, and lock/unlock cycles.
  • Experience implementing compensation plan enhancements and workflow improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage production support activities for Varicent ICM applications.
  • Monitor and ensure successful execution of daily and monthly batch runs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity, calculation, and payout issues.
  • Perform reconciliation between source systems and Varicent outputs.
  • Handle incident, problem, and change management tickets within SLA timelines.
  • Support month-end compensation processing activities and validations.
  • Design and implement enhancements to compensation plans, rules, and workflows.
  • Optimize and tune system models to improve application performance.
  • Participate in feature development, testing, release management, and deployments.
  • Provide ongoing support for business queries and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
