Job description

Freese and Nicholsiscurrentlyseekinga highly motivated Licensed Stormwater Project Manager/Team Leader to lead complex flood resilience projects in our growing Denver, CO office. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in InfoWorks ICM, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS (1D/2D) with strong project management experience. This rolerepresentsthe opportunity to mentor and develop junior staff and contribute to the continued growth of our Colorado business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Colorado Stormwater Team
  • Serve asProject Manager on projects utilizing HEC-RAS (1D/ 2D) and InfoWorks ICM modeling, including oversight and review of modeling work
  • Ensure quality client service, clarity of work products, and delivery of high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints
  • Direct, supervise, and mentor engineers, designers, drafters, and technicians
  • Coordinate assigned work to ensure continuity, consistency, and quality across project teams
  • Determineand schedule required project resources; evaluate project decisions to ensure sound engineering judgment and consideration of impacts to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Remain current on applicable regulations, standards, and technological advancements
  • Support business development efforts including client engagement, opportunity development, proposal preparation, and project interviews
  • Participate in technical presentations, professional organizations, and industry events
Qualifications
  • 6+ yearsin stormwater management
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering(or equivalent)
  • Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain Colorado licensure within three(3)months of hire
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience withstormwater masterplans,GIS,technicalwriting
  • Experience withInfoWorksICM modeling, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 2D

The annual salary range for this position is $116,600 - $160,000 and is dependent on candidate's qualifications as compared to minimum and preferred requirements. Exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay at a straight-time hourly rate for any hours over forty (40) hours per week. Employees are eligible for annual bonuses and amounts are determined by company profitability and growth, and for employees at higher compensation grades, group and personal performance are also considered.
