Operations Analyst - Operations (Private Capital)

Role Overview

The Operations Analyst supports the Atlantic broking teams throughout the policy lifecycle. As a member of the Operations team, the candidate coordinates with brokers and various cross-functional departments to ensure all best practices are followed and service-level agreements are met according to internal standards. This role will be based in our New York City office (on-site with some opportunity for remote work).

Key Responsibilities

  • Providesupport tobrokers,operations,finance,legal, andcompliance teamsthroughout policy lifecycle.
  • Applyknowledge oftheinsurancerules and regulations ineach stateandinsurance product Atlantic offers, as well as general insurance best practices to review andvalidatepolicy information.
  • Complete carrier and state surpluslinesforms, applying policy information, checking for accuracy, and returning completed form to clients, Atlantic brokers, or insurers/MGAs, as applicable.
  • Followup with clients and insurersto satisfy policyconditionsduring post-bind, closing, and post-closingprocessestoensurefile completeness.Proactivelychase for documents ahead of due dates.
  • Review and negotiate client Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Draft and distribute NDA Joinder Agreements to insurers, andNon RelianceLetters (NRL's) to Due Diligence providers, summarizing andconsolidatingproposed changes, and collaborating with brokers for review.
  • Ensuredataaccuracy, including adhering to Quality Assurancerequirementsvalidatingaccuracy of systems entries, and keeping files up to date when accounts are boundor lost.
  • PerformKYCcheckson prospective clients.
  • Develop an understanding ofinternal standards as well asregulatory requirementsto adhere to compliance requirements.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs andsolicitcustomer feedback to improve service.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-5years' experience. Experiencein arelated fieldpreferred.
  • General understanding of insurance and surplus lines rules and requirementspreferred.
  • Bachelor's Degreeor relevant experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task,and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Abilityto effectivelycollaborate andcommunicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skillsincludingWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
