This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer based in Netherlands.

This role focuses on designing modern, engaging, and highly effective learning experiences for adult professionals across global teams. You will be responsible for creating instructional programs that combine strong pedagogical foundations with innovative digital approaches, including AI-powered learning tools.
The work is highly collaborative, involving close partnership with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex knowledge into clear, structured learning journeys.
You will play a key role in shaping how knowledge and skills are developed at scale through blended and self-paced learning formats.
The environment is fast-paced, experimental, and innovation-driven, with a strong emphasis on creativity, storytelling, and learner engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and deliver blended learning programs aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Apply instructional design and adult learning principles (andragogy) to create engaging, learner-centered experiences.
  • Design and develop a variety of learning formats, including eLearning modules, self-paced courses, virtual sessions, and on-the-job learning activities.
  • Ensure consistency, accessibility, and instructional quality across all learning content and delivery channels.
  • Leverage generative AI tools, including custom GPTs, to enhance learning design and delivery.
  • Manage end-to-end instructional design projects, including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
  • Continuously improve learning experiences by integrating feedback, data insights, and emerging learning technologies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or corporate L&D environments.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and evidence-based instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience designing blended learning solutions across multiple formats (eLearning, virtual training, self-paced modules, etc.).
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and ability to apply them in learning design contexts.
