Skyway Dermatolytics (dba Skyway DermPath) is an independently-owned dermatopathology service founded by a solo dermatologist/dermatopathologist with 20 years of dermatopathology experience and a vision to be on the leading edge of technical advances in pathology. Our mission is to provide clear, concise, relevant reports, centered on excellent CPC and service for our providers, their teams, and patients, with open and collegial communication. Skyway DermPath, in conjunction with OnePath Diagnostics, LLC, is in need of a remote digital dermatopathologist.

The role will be completely digital, iPad based, and allow for flexibility for qualify of life. We're looking for a board-certified dermatopathologist who shares our vision. Highlights 100% remote โ€” work from wherever you want to be with high-speed internet service Per-specimen compensation, flexible volume โ€” you control your caseload Digital cases only, via various WSI platforms using several scanner models โ€” no glass slides Ultramodern LIS/IMS that is easy to learn and to implement personal preferences Technical component backed by a partner lab committed to excellence and open communication, with a shared vision to be among the most technologically modern dermatopathology labs in the country While full time work is available, derm/dermpaths seeking supplemental caseload to balance clinical duties are also encouraged to apply.

Board certification in dermatopathology (required) Dermatology/dermatopathology training pathway preferred but not required Commitment to clinicopathologic correlation/relevant reporting in every case Willingness to initiate/take communication with referring clinicians about patient cases as needed This is a digital only position, and comfort/enthusiasm reading digital slides is required, and previous experience reading digital slides preferred Active unrestricted U.S. medical licensure required in at least one state; we will assist with additional state licensure and credentialing as needed This is a great fit for a dermatopathologist who wants a flexible, technology-forward arrangement โ€” and who gets excited about cases and the practice of medicine when done right, not just throughput.
