Market America is looking for an experienced Digital Communications Manager to lead our team into the future.
Remote from NY, NH, CT, NC, and FL.
Position Summary: The Digital Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing digital communication strategies that drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and conversions. The Digital Communications Manager will use various channels, including email, SMS, and push notifications, to reach our customers at strategic touchpoints throughout the customer journey.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
  • Create and oversee the implementation of digital communication strategies that align with company goals.
  • Develop messaging for email, SMS, and push notifications that promote our brand and drive customer engagement and conversions.
  • Manage and optimize multi-channel digital communication campaigns.
  • Plan and execute automated campaigns based on trigger events, customer behavior, and segmentation.
  • Ensure compliance with current digital communication regulations and laws for all of our markets.
  • Track and analyze the performance of digital communication campaigns, including email, SMS, and push notifications, and use the findings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand alignment across all channels.
  • Monitor industry trends and developments to ensure our digital communication strategies remain effective.
  • Understand digital communication trends across our international markets and tailor strategies accordingly.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None, but may direct and/or train others.

Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Market America.
Education & Experience:
  • Associates degree in Business, E-Commerce, Marketing, or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital communications management
  • Hands-on experience working with various digital communication platforms and tools such as marketing automation software, SMS providers, and push notification services.
  • Experience in email automation software like Maropost, Mandrill or similar tools
  • Experience in SMS automation software like Twilio or similar
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of digital communication platforms and tools
  • Demonstrable experience in developing multi-channel communication campaigns and automation.

Computer/Communication Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on measuring and improving performance metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Travel:
  • Annual conference participation and related travel

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold hot/humid)
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • Regularly required to talk, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop kneel and crouch.
  • Raise and lower an object from one level to another, less than twenty (20) pounds.
  • Visual acuity must be a minimum or 20/40 (corrected) and normal hand/eye coordination.
  • Normal or corrected hearing
  • Must be able to perform in an office environment where ninety (90) percent of work is performed sitting.
  • Occasional long or irregular hours of work
