Responsibilities: <> · We’re looking for a Senior HVAC Design Technician who can step in and contribute immediately. In this role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to lead the development of complex industrial HVAC and Process Exhaust systems for advanced facilities. You will be responsible for: <> · Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial building mechanical systems <> · Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details <> · Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design <> · Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines <> · Apply expert knowledge of building mechanical systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy <> · This role is ideal for an experienced designer who thrives in a fast paced environment and can operate with a high degree of independence, technical judgment, and initiative. Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
  •  Candidate should have 3 of the last 5 years in a “Revit HVAC Designer” role designing Ductwork systems 
  •  Candidates with only residential/commercial experience are underqualified for the role and will be filtered out 
  •  Candidate must have some “Industrial Facility Design” experience,
  • 5+ years required, anything less will be filtered out 
    o Industries: semiconductor, manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, mining & metals, etc. 
  • Candidate should have 10+ years of total design experience o Exceptional candidates below this experience threshold may be considered for a 
    lower job tier for a similar role
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 8+ years of AutoCAD design experience
  • 4+ years of Revit design experience
  • 5+ years of industrial building mechanical design experience
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes, specifically the International Mechanical Code (IMC).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently execute design packages with minimal supervision

✅ Non-BSME / non-PE
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in complex industrial environments such as semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, data centers or other advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Technical or Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Advanced problem solving, planning, and analytical skills.
