Job description

Requirement - Grafana Dashboard Developer

Location- 100% Remote

Contract W2

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Grafana Dashboard Developer to design and deliver world-class, real-time data visualization experiences.

This role is focused on transforming complex data into intuitive dashboards that drive decision-making at scale. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on Grafana expertise and can rapidly move from user story → production-ready dashboard while maintaining high standards for performance, usability, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced Grafana dashboards that translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
  • Build real-time dashboards integrating multiple data sources (Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Kusto, etc.)
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate dashboards based on evolving requirements
  • Translate user stories into production-grade visualizations
  • Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability
  • Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver outcomes
  • Establish and follow best practices for dashboard design, structure, and maintainability

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of hands-on Grafana experience (mandatory)
  • Proven experience building complex, multi-panel dashboards in production environments
  • Strong expertise in data visualization and storytelling with data
  • Experience working with real-time data and multiple data sources
  • Proficiency with query languages (KQL, PromQL, SQL, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering dashboards end-to-end from requirements → deployment
  • Strong communication skills working across technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Managed Grafana or cloud-based observability platforms
  • Familiarity with SLI/SLO dashboards, telemetry, and monitoring systems
  • Experience with CI/CD or dashboards-as-code frameworks

What Sets This Role Apart

  • This is not a basic dashboard role
  • We are looking for candidates who:
    • Have deep Grafana expertise (not AI-only experience)
    • Can design dashboards that tell a story, not just display data
    • Operate with speed, ownership, and craftsmanship
    • Use AI as an accelerator, not a substitute for technical skill
