Job description

We are currently looking for an Engineering Intern to join our team in Huntsville, AL (Remote) for Fall 2026
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Intern to support ongoing digital engineering and analytics initiatives across our organization. In this role, the intern will assist in developing, refining, and maintaining SysML-based models, contributing to analytical digital threads, and supporting engineering workflow integration efforts. The selected candidate will work closely with senior MBSE staff to help ensure model consistency, perform updates, and explore opportunities to streamline system-of-systems modeling activities. This position offers hands-on exposure to modern digital engineering toolchains and provides a strong foundation for students pursuing careers in systems engineering, modeling and simulation, or digital transformation.
In addition to MBSE responsibilities, the intern will support Power BI and Power Apps development tasks, including creating dashboards, cleaning and transforming datasets, building automated workflows, and helping to design low-code applications that improve operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have familiarity with Power Platform tools, strong analytical thinking, and the willingness to learn new technologies quickly. This role is perfect for students who enjoy working at the intersection of engineering, data visualization, and process automation.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in STEM field
  • Comfortable supporting multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with help from experienced team members
  • Must possess communication skills for interacting with other engineers/analysts and customers

Desired Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter with a willingness to take initiative

Clearance: Not Required
