Job description

Role: Creative Strategist
Location: Remote
Hours: M-F, 40 hours per week
Reports to: CEO
Overview
We're looking for a full-time Creative Strategist to lead end-to-end creative development for paid social ads across paid social channels. You'll own the process from concept to execution - writing scripts, sourcing and directing talent, editing content, and analyzing performance to continuously refine creative strategy. You'll be responsible for managing client monthly UGC and remix deliverables.

Creative Strategy & Ideation
  • Develop performance-driven creative strategies across paid social channels
  • Research top-performing ad trends, hooks, and formats to inform creative direction.
  • Write scripts and creative briefs that align with campaign objectives and audience insights.
  • Collaborate with media buyers to translate performance data into new ad concepts and creative iterations.
  • Research content ideas and build inspiration boards to bring new ideas to our content mix

Production & Talent Direction
  • Help source, brief, and manage UGC creators and on-camera talent.
  • Direct shoots and provide feedback on tone, pacing, and visual storytelling.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of high-quality content ready for testing and publishing.
  • Lead, produce, direct on site shoots with talent
  • Help brief, review, and deliver assets from 3rd party designers, creators, and agencies

Content Creation & Editing
  • Edit and produce UGC videos - from raw footage to polished, platform-optimized deliverables.
  • Experiment with hooks, captions, pacing, and visuals to increase engagement and conversion.
  • Create original content featuring yourself when relevant to campaign needs.

Performance Analysis & Optimization
  • Analyze creative performance across paid and organic channels to identify winning patterns.
  • Compile learnings and recommendations for ongoing creative testing.
  • Continuously evolve strategy based on platform data, outside brand inspiration, consumer behavior, and brand goals.

Systems & Collaboration
  • Build scalable creative systems - content libraries, naming conventions, and workflow templates.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (paid media, account management, design) to streamline creative execution.
  • Manage freelance editors or creators as the team scales.
  • Post top agency content on media social channels once per quarter
  • Regularly sit in on client meetings bi-weekly or monthly to be in the know on what's going on with the accounts
  • Join Slack for select clients
  • Being a swiss army knife and taking on new responsibilities that the organization needs support with
