Location: Findlay, Ohio or San Antonio, TX (Partial Remote)
Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. M-F 8-5
Employment Type: 6+ Month W2 Contract
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support operational processes and IT systems. This role involves defining business and system requirements by facilitating user meetings, developing use cases, and researching issues. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into high-quality documentation and support user acceptance testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define business and system requirements through user interviews and issue research.
  • Translate business needs into high-quality Business Requirements and Functional Specifications documentation.
  • Code business application programs based on user instructions or formal specifications.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Demonstrate ownership of issues, tracking them to completion through incident management and reporting.
  • Manage operations-meets-accounting relationships.
Required Qualifications
Education: Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Experience with transactional data, preferably within a Logistics discipline. Background in a large company environment is beneficial.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL or proven ability with Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Knowledge of business processes and IT systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated operational support acumen.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
