Job description

About Us:
Comfrt is one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer brands, dedicated to blending mental wellness, inclusivity, and elevated comfort into every piece we create. Our mission goes beyond clothing โ€” we strive to build a community where everyone feels supported and seen.ย
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our growing technology team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business objectivesโ€”particularly in our eCommerce domain, ambitious international expansion initiatives, and financial operationsโ€”and the technical solutions required to achieve them. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in eCommerce platforms, NetSuite ERP systems (especially Finance modules), international business processes, and multi-channel operations, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for development teams.
Responsibilities:

Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product Management) and the IT/Development teams, focusing specifically on eCommerce capabilities, NetSuite integrations, and cross-border operations.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement within the existing eCommerce architecture (e.g., shopping cart, payment gateways, fulfillment, taxation) and NetSuite financial workflows (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, revenue recognition).
  • Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements (FRDs, BRDs) for new features, system enhancements, major international deployments, and financial process improvements across multiple sales channels.
  • Develop user stories, process flows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product Owners, Finance leadership, and UX/UI designers.

eCommerce & Multi-Channel System Expertise

  • Maintain expert knowledge of our core eCommerce platform (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, Magento, custom platform) and its integration points with NetSuite ERP and other enterprise systems (CRM, WMS).
  • Analyze and optimize digital storefront performance across multiple sales channels (DTC, wholesale, marketplace integrations), conversion funnels, and customer experience features related to global sites (e.g., multi-currency support, localization, region-specific promotions).
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues related to the eCommerce stack and NetSuite integrations, performing root cause analysis and recommending technical solutions.
NetSuite Finance & Operations Integration
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in NetSuite Finance modules, including order-to-cash workflows, revenue recognition, inter company transactions, and multi-entity accounting across international subsidiaries.
  • Define system requirements for eCommerce-to-NetSuite integrations, ensuring accurate order capture, revenue posting, AR/AP reconciliation, and tax compliance across multiple sales channels and geographic regions.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to document NetSuite customizations, workflow improvements, and data validation rules needed to support growing transaction volumes and regulatory requirements.
  • Support NetSuite configuration for multi-currency, multi-subsidiary accounting and consolidation requirements in international markets.

Testing and Deployment

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with business owners, including Finance stakeholders validating NetSuite transaction accuracy.
  • Validate that technical solutions meet the original business objectives and quality standards, particularly in a multi-region, multi-channel, multi-entity environment.
  • Support the rollout and post-implementation phases of new project and NetSuite enhancements.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within a retail, consumer goods, or technology environment.
  • 3+ years of direct experience working with major B2C or B2B eCommerce platforms and related systems.
  • 3+ years of NetSuite ERP experience (Fulfil.ioย a plus), with demonstrated expertise in Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, revenue recognition).
  • Demonstrable experience supporting or leading systems implementation aspects of international business expansion or cross-border trade projects.
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical and financial information to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA), Agile/Scrum (e.g., CSPO, CSM), or NetSuite (e.g., NetSuite Administrator, NetSuite Financial User).โ—ย Hands-on experience with multi-channel order management and fulfillment systems (Shopify, Amazon, marketplace platforms).
  • Familiarity with global payment processing, fraud management tools, and international logistics providers.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, PIM, and accounting system integrations in an eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, NetSuite dashboards) to evaluate system performance and business impact.
  • Experience with international tax compliance, multi-entity accounting, and currency management in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
